1.     Stanford Graduate Summer Institute (SGSI) – Round 2 Deadline: June 11

Immersive, interdisciplinary, accelerated courses for Stanford graduate students. Course topics range from international negotiation to digital humanities, energy to leadership—and more! Courses run the week of Sep. 11* before Autumn Quarter (*course schedules vary). Round 2 deadline: Sun., June 11.

5.     Caltrain Go Pass

Moving off campus? The 2017 Caltrain Go Pass is free for eligible, off-campus graduate students only. Go to the Pilot Go Pass website to: 1. Qualify, 2. Pick up, 3. Use. The 2017 Caltrain Go Pass is valid from Dec. 1, 2016 through Dec. 31, 2017.

 

6.     Academic Skills Coaching

Meet with an academic skills coach who will observe your strategies and techniques, suggest changes to your approach, and provide encouragement as you implement new ways of learning. Make an appointment online. Offered by the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning (VPTL).

 

7.     Hume Center for Writing and Speaking: Resources for Graduate Students

Individual Consultations:

Working on a job letter or conference presentation? Have a big interview coming up? Stuck on a dissertation chapter? The Hume Center offers FREE writing and speaking support for grad students!

Now it's your turn to come and spook them out during the presentation session!

Actually, the presentations have always been a great opportunity to learn more about the passions and stories of other students. Who knows what you might learn this time!
