Emergencies

For medical emergencies, life-threatening situations, and crime, call 9-911.

For Immediate Assistance from GLO

If you are in a crisis and need immediate assistance you can page the Graduate Life Dean on call 24/7 by following the instructions below. If you can wait a few hours or until the next business day, please email us at graduatelifeoffice@stanford.edu and a GLO Dean will get back to you.

Call the GLO Pager

Call the GLO pager at 650.723.7288. You will reach a Stanford operator. 

  • Provide pager ID #25085 and indicate that you need to reach the graduate dean-on-call.

Email the GLO Pager

Email the GLO pager at 25085@pageme.stanford.edu. Include your name, your return phone number and a brief reason for paging in the message (2-4 words, plain text, ex: Academic Concern, Mental Health, Bike Accident). Please note, this mode of contact has a limited number of characters. Please send only the information listed. We will call you back for the details.

Concerned About a Student? Main content start Faculty, staff and friends are in a unique position to identify graduate students who might be having academic or personal problems. Making a referral to the Graduate Life Office (GLO) is the first step in helping troubled students find the right resources before problems escalate.
