We aim to help graduate students flourish at Stanford through programming that addresses the multifaceted issues of the graduate experience. Through programs like New Graduate Student Orientation (NGSO), Grad 201s, and GLO Study Breaks, we connect students to important campus resources and empower them to thrive as members of the Stanford community.
New Graduate Student Orientation
Welcome to Stanford and welcome to the community! The Graduate Life Office (GLO) coordinates NGSO to welcome and orient new graduate students to Stanford. Our goal is to connect new graduate students with useful campus resources that will assist them during their time as graduate students. NGSO is open to all incoming graduate and professional students of the 2024-25 Academic Year. While attendance is not mandatory, we encourage students to attend as many events as possible to make the most out of orientation week. Students will also be added to NGSO's Canvas course in September.
