Calling first-year international graduate students!
Event Details:
Location
Calling first-year international graduate students! The Bechtel International Center and the Graduate Life Office (GLO) are excited to pilot a mid-year check-in panel for international graduate students. Navigating life and scholarship in a different country, while exciting at first, can also be challenging, stressful, and exhausting.
This event will offer a unique chance to hear from seasoned international graduate students across different schools about how they have built a home away from home at Stanford and navigated challenges as international students. The conversation theme of the panel will be geared towards finding community and navigating day-to-day life in the US. This event will not cover immigration advising questions.
Free Chipotle will be provided to attendees after the panel.
Event Capacity: This event is for international Stanford graduate students only. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance will be capped at 50 participants. If the RSVP list exceeds 50 entries, a lottery will be drawn.
