GRAD 201: Winter Book Club

Belonging: The Science of Creating Connection and Bridging Divides

Event Details:

Tuesday, January 27, 2026 - Tuesday, February 10, 2026

Join fellow graduate students for a thoughtful and supportive book club centered on Belonging: The Science of Creating Connection and Bridging Divides by Geoff Cohen.

Together, we’ll explore what it means to find community and belonging in graduate school—an environment that can be both inspiring and isolating. Through guided discussions, we’ll reflect on how “situation crafting” and other evidence-based strategies can foster connection, well-being, and personal growth in academic life. This is a space to share experiences, build community, and learn how to thrive—together.
