Transportation to Major Shopping Areas

  • The Marguerite shuttle runs from campus to the Stanford Shopping Center, downtown Palo Alto, and the California Avenue shopping district in Palo Alto.
  • Valley Transit Authority (VTA) bus route 22 runs every 12 minutes from Palo Alto Caltrain Station and to El Camino/Embarcadero Road intersection. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the San Antonio Shopping Center.
  • VTA bus route 35 runs every 30 minutes from Stanford Medical Center and Stanford Shopping Center to the San Antonio Shopping Center. It takes about 40 minutes.
  • VTA bus route 86 runs from Stanford Medical Center and Stanford Shopping Center to San Antonio Shopping Center. It takes about 45 minutes.
  • VTA bus route 300 Express runs every 30 minutes from the top of the Oval to El Camino & Showers Dr. (near the San Antonio Shopping Ctr.) in Mountain View. It takes about 20 minutes.
  • SamTrans bus route 390 runs every 10-15 minutes (every 30 minutes on Saturday& Sunday) from the Palo Alto train station up El Camino Real through Menlo Park & Redwood City.
